Butterfly themed framed art with Spellbiners Bibi Cameron collection
Framed art made with Spellbinders So Many Butterflies and Petite Floral Potpourri dies

Spellbinders Bibi’s Butterflies collection is a stunning collection that came out last month. At the time of purchase, the Card Creator die set from this collection was sold out everywhere, so I purchased the So Many Butterflies and the Petite Floral Potpourri dies instead. The results are similar to what you can make with the Card Creator set.

I created two butterflies, and for both of them I used the Spellbinders Geometric Butterfly Stencil as the background. I also die cut the second largest butterfly from the set with vellum to go between the flowers and each main butterfly.

The Flowers

The Petite Floral Potpourri dies are etched, so they emboss as well. They are very pretty. If you don’t have the Card Creator or the Petite Floral Potpourri dies, you can use any small flower dies and achieve the same results.

I made a few extra flowers from the Petite Floral Potpourri die set to fill up the frame, which was from Ikea and measures 5×7″ in the matted area. To complete the piece, I stamped the sentiment from Paper Pumpkin‘s 2021 Hope Box kit.

Framed art design #2, in a much smaller frame.

In butterfly #2, I used the sentiment from Hero Arts Ink Painting Scene stamp set, and added the butterflies embellishments from Stampin’ Up. I didn’t arrange the flowers in the same way for the two butterflies, so they are definitely one of a kind.

I really loved this collection. These were just the first two pieces I have made with the Spellbinders So Many Butterflies die set. I am definitely going to do more.
