Stamping Bella Rubber Stamps
I discovered Stamping Bella‘s gnome stamps when I was searching for anything gnome-related. So far, I have purchased three of the gnome stamps in their collection, and I LOVE them. This one, Stamping Bella Gnome Bouquet, is my absolute favourite.
In addition, I appreciate that these are real rubber stamps. The stamped images come out clear, even if you have ink pads that may not stamp well with photopolymer stamps.
Colouring With Alcohol Markers
For stamping the main image, I used Tsukineko Memento Dew Drop (in Tuxedo Black), which is the only ink I find that works with alcohol markers without any smearing. I coloured with Ohuhu markers as well as Stampin’ Blends by Stampin’ Up in Pool Party, Gray Granite and Fresh Freesia. The sentiment was stamped with Stampin’ Up Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Spot.
I have some thoughts on the Stampin’ Blends, which I will be reviewing on a separate post.
For the paper in this print, I used Strathmore 400 Series Marker Paper which has a smooth surface. It’s not as thick as the Bristol smooth paper, which, I find, works better with alcohol markers overall.
The frame is from Ikea, which costs less than CAD$3. With the mat you can put a 4×6″ image in, or without the mat you can put up to a 5×7″ photo or print inside. It has an acrylic piece instead of glass, so it is lightweight and won’t break.
All in all, I would put Stamping Bella on my favourite list, especially if you are looking for cute gnome stamps. 🙂
