I am a sucker for dessert themed cards in general. It’s been a long while since I bought anything from Stampin’ Up but the Share A Milkshake bundle looks too yummy to pass up. I loved it so much I made 12 cards in one sitting! Here are my Share A Milkshake Cards.
Designing Process
I started by stamping and die-cutting the pieces before I played around with their placements on the card bases.
If you must know, the crepes were what got me in this bundle! My husband is French and loves crepes, so I need to do them justice. 😛
Using a blending brush, I applied the Distress Ink in Tea Dye (any light medium brown ink will do) to the crepe die cuts. Don’t forget the insides of the crepes!
Design Tips
I stick to more pastel shades for most. To make the colours pop, I used complementary colours, which are colours directly opposite each other on the colour wheel. e.g. purple and yellow, blue and orange. I find that they give the most visual impact.

Additionally, I used Scrapbook.com’s Pops of Color on the cards.
This bundle is really versatile! You can use it for birthday or Valentine’s day, you name it. The very last card I made is a small gift card that can go with a present. It’s super easy and fun to make.
Given that this Share A Milkshake bundle is from the January – April 2023 mini catalogue, I would highly recommend getting it while you can. All in all, I am very happy with this set and it is sure to brighten up anyone’s day.
